Carey Electric is an electrical contracting company that was established in 1918. In 1963 the father of the present owners purchased the company.

Currently, Carey Electric employs approximately 100 people. While the majority of the employees consist of electricians, including 15 Foreman, there are also 4 Project Managers/Estimators, 1 Purchasing Agent, 2 Field Superintendents, 1 Service Manager, 4 Office Workers, and a guard dog.

Carey Electric primarily works in the Western Ohio area, typically staying within a 150 mile radius of Dayton, Ohio. However, we have also undertaken jobs in Kentucky, Michigan, Illinois, Alabama, Tennessee, North Carolina, West Virginia, Florida, and Indiana.

Our annual sales volume averages around 12 million dollars and our primary emphasis is in the commercial and industrial area. We also maintain a Service Department which handles small time and material jobs for many companies throughout our work area. The Service Department is available for emergencies 24 hours a day. Our goal is to provide the finest-quality services to customers and to do this more efficiently and economically than our competitors.

We are a member of the Associated Builders and Contractors, the ABC.
